Do you need an analytics partner?

I often ask prospective clients, "how much revenue are you generating from marketing efforts?"

I encourage clients to ask how much revenue they might generate from marketing shifts informed by analytics. For some clients, the answer is quite a bit! For others, they might find data interesting but do not have the business structure to benefit from an analytics partner. This is often tied to how much a client is spending in advertising but not always!

At Nest, we do both! I like to say that we are the general contractors and the interior designers.

A significant difference between Universal Analytics and GA4 is the use of segments. Here’s a helpful workaround I have been using for clients.

1) Go to the Library on left hand side

2) Create a new collection/ report with your filter/segment applied

3) Publish your new library with a meaningful name

4) Everyone with access to the property can see these reports

But, this last year, our story had a sudden change. Our youngest daughter, Sophia, has been diagnosed with a rare chromosomal disorder. And, I’ve been finding that #mywhy seems to be shifting. I’m finding that my work (and all parts of me) are being motivated by Sophia and the world of kids with disabilities, who we’ve suddenly become so well acquainted with. They are a TOUGH group of kiddos.
